Arsenic and Old Lace Essay Assignment

ELA A10 IP–Today in class we wrote a quiz on Arsenic and Old Lace.  We also began writing an essay regarding the play.  For a copy of the essay assignment, click above.

ELA 9 and ELA 98–Today in class we read and discussed two poems, “Real Love” and “The Masks of Love.”  We also reviewed for the exam and began working on the expository paragraph for the exam.  Students are permitted to complete the paragraph for homework and bring it to the exam tomorrow.

ELA A10 IP–Today in class we finished and discussed the Act III questions and reviewed for tomorrow’s quiz. 

ELA 9 and ELA 98–Today in class we finished reading and discussed “The Bishop’s Candlesticks.”  Tomorrow we will study the final poems of the unit and we will review for the quiz on Thursday.

ELA A10 IP–Today in class we finished reading “Arsenic and Old Lace.”  We also began working on the questions for Act III of the play. 

ELA and ELA 98–Today in class we discussed the poems “The Child Who Walks Backwards” and “June Bug.”  We also started reading the play entitled “The Bishop’s Candlesticks.”

ELA A10 IP–Today in class there were a couple of ghost story presentations.  As well, we started reading Act III of Arsenic and Old Lace, and we started discussing ideas for the animation project.

ELA 9 and ELA 98–Today in class there were a couple of book review presentations. As well, we read and discussed two poems, “The Child Who Walks Backwards,” and “June Bug.”

ELA A10 IP–Today in class we discussed the Globe Theatre production that we attended yesterday, and we finished the rough copy of the short play that we’ve been writing. 

ELA 9 and ELA 98–Today in class we read and discussed the story “Appointment with Love.”
