ELA B10–Today we read our library books, typed the good copy of our descriptive paragraphs, studied spelling words 1-20, and started a dialogue assignment.

ELA 9–Today we read our library books, reviewed the parts of speech, and worked on our narrative paragraph assignment.  The rough copy of this assignment is due tomorrow.

ELA B10–Today we did the following:

1.  We read our library books.

2.  We studied words 1-20 on our list of 150 commonly misspelled words.  There will be a quiz on these words on Thursday.

3.  We worked on our descriptive paragraphs.  The rough copy of this is due at the beginning of class tomorrow.  We will type the good copy during class time tomorrow. 

ELA 9–Today we did the following:

1. We read our library books.

2.  We learned about interjections.

3. We reviewed the parts of speech.

4. We started a writing assignment based on “The End of All Things.”

ELA B10–Today we did the following:

1. We read library books.

2.  We discussed the book review due date (March 12).

3.  We learned how to write a descriptive paragraph.

4.  We started writing a descriptive paragraph about our “ideal place.”

ELA 9–Today we did the following:

1. We read our library books.

2.  We discussed the book review due date (March 12).

3.  We learned about apostrophes.  Mr. Arndt handed back dialogue assignments.  Many students had difficulties with apostrophe use on this assignment.

4.  We discussed Loki and Balder’s conflict and the story entitled “The End of All Things.”

Of Mice and Men Chapter Six Questions 

ELA B10–Today we did the following:

1. We read our library books.

2. We discussed chapter five.

3.  We read chapter six and worked on the questions.  For a copy of the questions, click on the words “Of Mice and Men Chapter Six Questions.”

4.  We discussed chapter six.

ELA 9–Today we finished the dialogue assignment.  If you did not finish, then it’s due at the beginning of class on Monday, February 26, 2007.

ELA B10–Today we did the following:

1.  We read our library books.

2.  We wrote a test on sentences.

3.  We worked on questions for chapter five.  See yesterday’s blog entry for a copy of these questions.

4.  We discussed chapter five.

5.   We worked on five-frame cartoons.  These are due tomorrow at the beginning of class.

ELA 9–Today we worked on the rough copy of our dialogue assignment.  The completed rough copy is due tomorrow at the beginning of class.  Tomorrow we will type the good copy of this assignment.  For a copy of this assignment, see last Thusday’s blog entry.
