Of Mice and Men Chapter One Questions
ELA B10–Today we did the following:
1. We read library books.
2. We handed in blog notes signed by parents. Get this in tomorrow if you failed to do so today.
3. We read chapter one of Of Mice and Men.
4. We worked on questions for chapter one. These are due tomorrow, and they are worth twenty marks. Click on the words “Of Mice and Men Chapter One Questions” (above) for a copy of the questions.
ELA 9–Today we read our library books. Then, we discussed the proverbs from yesterday. Following this, we learned about adjectives. We ended the class by making “Proverb Posters.”
ELA B10–Today we discussed the subject and predicate parts of the sentence. Mr. Arndt also introduced Of Mice and Men. Remember that blog notes signed by parents are due tomorrow.

ELA 9–Today we went over the mid-term exam. We also discussed things that the students would like to do this semester.
ELA B10–Today we did the following:
1. Mr. Arndt went over his rules.
2. We went to the library to check out books for our book review assignments.
3. We went over an outline of what will be covered this semester.
4. We did a “Your Job” /”My Job” list.
5. We did a student questionnaire.
ELA 10–Today we wrote a short quiz pertaining to the “Challenges” unit. Then, we reviewed for the final exam. The final will be written in room 309 at 1:15 on Tuesday.

ELA 9–Today we discussed the narrative entitled “Windigo.” Then, we reviewed for the mid-term test. The test is on Monday. Period one will write at 8:30. Period two will write at 10. Period three will write at 11:15. The test will be written in room 309.

ELA 10–Today we discussed prepositions, conjunctions and interjections. As well, we reviewed figures of speech such as simile, metaphor, and alliteration. Following this, we discussed a couple of poems. There will be a short quiz on the “Challenges” unit tomorrow. Mr. Arndt will also give out recommends and we will review for the final exam which is on Tuesday.
ELA 9–Today we read our library books. Then, we reviewed the principal parts of verbs for the mid-term test. Following this, we discussed famous female heroes. We ended class by reading about and discussing “Running Eagle.”
